With a focus on quality and customer satisfaction, Misoya offers a menu that caters to diverse palates, making it a perfect destination for everyone—from sushi enthusiasts to ramen aficionados.
As a food reviewer with Foodjoyy, I've had the pleasure of exploring the delightful offerings at Misoya, and I must say, it’s a feast for the senses. One standout dish is the Tuna Tataki, which showcases the chef's expertise in preparing succulent and fresh fish. However, many diners, including Shannon Bohnenkamp, find themselves captivated by the indulgent King Kong roll, bursting with flavor and creativity.
The culinary journey continues with enticing appetizers like gyoza and chicken karage, which come highly recommended by patrons for their crispy texture and savory flavors. As described by Jade Jones, the outdoor seating setting adds a charming touch, making Misoya an ideal spot for enjoying a meal under the blue skies of summer while sipping on some delectable sake.
Add to that an impressive array of bento boxes, such as the Vegetable Teriyaki Bento Box paired with Vegetable Tempura, and you'll find that each dish is prepared with care and attention to detail. The warmth of the staff, led by attentive servers like Drew and Teresa, truly enhances the dining experience, creating an atmosphere where you're treated like family. The restaurant’s commitment to excellent service, as highlighted by Ducci, is evident in every visit.
At Misoya, generous portions abound, ensuring that everyone leaves satisfied. The diverse menu offers a plethora of options, making it hard not to return for more. From Beef Bulgogi Bi Bim Bap to crunchy sushi rolls, the flavors are well-executed and based on authentic recipes, ensuring that every dish resonates with the true essence of Japanese cuisine.
For those seeking a memorable meal, Misoya stands out as the best sushi spot in Medford, inviting you to indulge in a delicious culinary adventure. “ Loved this place! I originally went for the Tuna Tataki but I ended up loving the King Kong roll much more. The gyoza and chicken karage were both good as well. I will definitely be returning to try more of the menu. ”
“ All the food was so delicious and the outdoor seating was enjoyable! Drew, our server, was polite and answered all our questions. We got the Vegetable Teriyaki Bento Box with Vegetable Tempura, the Beef Bulgogi Bi Bim Bap, a Las Vegas Roll (not pictured), Miso Soup, and some sake. This has entered one of my top favorite places to go to and I could not wait to come back before I had even left the restaurant! ”
“ We had a fantastic meal... the food is good but the service was the best... Teresa made our night she was efficient, funny, and took great care of us... they have some outdoor seating which is quite lovely during summer time. Best Sushi in Medford! ”
“ Great food, Great portions! Lots of options to choose from including a large selection of Sake and Sapporo! Definitely will be back! ”
“ First time in medford. Was indecisive about where to go for Ramen. Once we showed up super nice people. Even tho we brought a party of 10. They had us seated within seconds. Ended up ordering ramen, crunchy sushi rolls, ext. I ordered this, but i ordered off a picture. Everything was great! All the kids loved the food. Music was on point with the oldies but goodies playing. ”
“ Came in for dinner & really had a great experience. I went with the spicy pork bento box. Also, I tried the Firecracker appetizer, which is jalapeno stuffed with spicy tuna, cream cheese deep fried with a great sauce on top. It was VERY good! The bento box was what you'd expect. The pork was good, not super spicy, salad was nice & fresh. Overall, it was a fantastic meal ”
“ This restaurant offers a great mix of both Japanese and Korean cuisine, making it a fantastic spot for those who enjoy both flavors. The service is excellent—friendly, attentive, and efficient, which enhances the overall dining experience. The portion sizes are satisfying, making it a good value for the price. One standout dish for me is the Yukgaejang, which is made authentically and packed with rich, bold flavors. It’s comforting, spicy, and exactly how it should be. Overall, a solid choice for those craving quality Japanese and Korean dishes with great service and generous portions. I’ll definitely be coming back! ”
“ Food was phenomenal, service was great, and the atmosphere was perfect. This place was recommended to us by a family member while we were visiting and while it’s not right off the freeway it is worth the jaunt into town if you’re looking for superb sushi. ”
